TrakCar - Find Where & for How Long You Parked Car App Reviews

Works as promised but battery consumption is awful. In 2 days as a background activity Trakcar was 27% of my battery usage according to iPhone general settings. This was almost as much usage as 8+ hours of Safari browsing. This is not worth the hit to your battery.

Purchased full version but it keeps revering back to ad subsidized version.

Very useful App. I found my parked car with ease after I forgot where I left it. Auto-detect function really works. Press-button solution would not work for me, because I am a rather forgetful person. This App saved my day.

Super easy to use and it does exactly as advertised. Enough said!

I was running late to an important meeting, I could not find a parking spot. I finally parked, ran to the meeting. Only afterwards I realized I had no clue which street I left my car at. In had only my meeting on my mind. Then I remembered I installed this app. Nervously clicked on it - and yes, it remembered where my car was. It even showed me directions. What can I say - it saved my day! I dont know what I would have done without it.

Our mega-mall parking lot can be very confusing especially because I have a very popular car model. This app has helped me time and again to go straight to my car without wandering around helplessly. Thank you so much!

Since I wrote the text below, these 2 hours have become 4+ (by my experience). Document that limit up front, and I will go to 5 stars! ---- Old review: The free version is not fit for purpose -- parking slots become "pay or else" after 2 hours -- not enough for movie parking. 5 (say) hours, or last known spot, would be better; or make it an honest $2 (or $20, or ...) The (free) swift finder app is better on this count, and not obviously worse on any other.

Theres a great idea here, but it needs more work. My installation on iPhone is unstable. Im constantly asked to pay for the full version: but I already have it. Why does it need to constantly reinstall? I will probably uninstall instead: its like a beta version that escaped without testing. And furthermore, its not really precise enough to locate your car in a parking lot. Yes, Im a WalMart, but Where TF in this huge lot? Third, It doesnt even do simple things like remember locations you tag: even home. The labels vanish.

Very powerful app. First the concept is amazing, I always forget where I am parked. Second it registers your car location automatically, I still cannot believe this !

Keep having to restore the app which gets old very fast.

I want my $2 back. I have to restore purchases EVERY time I open the app. Auto detect parking never works. Update after update: still suuuuuuucks so hard. Dumps parking location every time I set it to auto. You have one job to do. Fail.

Im kind of person who has no other choice but must love this app which saves me to find my car when Im so dam tired & badly wanted to go home

This was really easy. I created a test parking event manually and it was really easy. Still need to see how it detects the events automatically, but sounds like a great idea

I tried other apps, but they required me to remember to press a button every time I parked, which kinda defeats the purpose of having such app. This one is automatic and works every time.
